Help Us To Determine What Kind Of Windows You Have

Determine how they open.
- Open Up and Down = Double Hung
- Slide Side To Side = Sliding Window
- Crank Outward/Upward = Open Panel
- Fixed (Does not open) = Fixed Panel
There is also another window where the top is fixed, the bottom goes up / down and comes completely out. Some are designed so the bottom goes up and tilts in. You must work the windows appropriately to get the screens out.
Determine if the units have dividers in them.
- No Dividers = Looks like one piece of glass.
- Removable Dividers = Dividers come out.
- True Dividers = Glass is placed within the divider.
- Non-removable = Divider does not come out and divider is glued or attached to the sash.
Determine the size.
- Small - Double Hung: 6 sq. over 6 sq. - Open Panel: 0 to 6 sq.
- Medium - Double Hung: 8 sq. over 8 sq. - Open Panel: 7 to 10 sq.
- Large - Double Hung: 6 sq. over 9 sq. - Open Panel: 11 to 15 sq.
- X-Large - Double Hung: 8 sq. over 12 sq. - Open Panel: 16 to 20 sq.
- Field Employee will set price for units larger than 8 sq. over 12 sq.
Sizes to be determined onsite. The dividers in the units help us to determine an approximate size since some 6 sq. over 6 sq. windows can be small while others will be medium, large or X-large.

- 4-sided = Inside & outside of glass, inside & outside of storm.
- Interior Storm Units—Storm is on the inside.
- Exterior Storm Unit—Storm is on the outside.
- Pella Storm—Storm panel attaches to inside of sash
- Energy Storm—Storm panel attaches to outside of sash
